Delray Decision Dietary Philosophy...
We believe in a daily diet that utilizes whole grains including basmati and brown rice, couscous, quinoa, bulgar wheat, millet and other varieties as it’s foundation. Accompanying the grains, we recommend a light protein such as chicken, fish, turkey, tofu, and beans, as well as a wide array of lightly cooked fresh, seasonal vegetables. We stress a very limited consumption of dairy products such as milk, ice cream, yogurt, all cheeses, and only small quantities of fresh fruit. It is important to take advantage of the freshest, seasonal ingredients and eliminate refined sugar and flour, preservatives, processed foods and soft drinks. We promote spring and filtered water as the primary liquid intake, green tea and a very limited amount of caffeinated beverages and no latte’s and/or cappucino’s!*
